Leveling A Rogue In WoW.
by Ed Sale on Apr.28, 2010, under Warcraft
The foundation for leveling a Rogue quickly and effectively is set when you decide your priority on stats so lets give a quick class specific breakdown. Agility above all else, it strengthens your attack power, your critical strike rate, while improving your armor and dodge slightly. Second priority is Stamina, while you level you will be soloing a fair amount so you need to be able to take a few hits and shrug them off. So where can you get armor and weapons with the right stats? It might mean periodic trips the local auction house. What are you looking for? Any green leather armor or (usable) weapon “of the monkey” (of the monkey offers combined agil and sta, exactly what you need) within 5 levels of your character, higher levels being better.
Every Talent specialization will work for the purpose of leveling but some shine more than others. Combat is the Rogues brute force method of leveling. While it lacks fineness and grace, and plays out a little bit more like a warrior than a classic rogue ninja character it does shine in terms of experience per minute and attacking more than one enemy at a time; great for people who prefer grinding or running dungeons. Assassination is a well rounded tree great for soloing, it’s built around enhancing the power of poisons and the efficiency of attacks and recovery time. A solid choice for most situations this spec in best typifies a WoW Rouge. Subtlety is a spec best suited to getting the edge over a foe using stealth. It shines in PvP but is rather slow in terms of leveling.
With a little simple preparation you can get past the obstacles of buying mounts, paying for training and new gear. Sounds hard? It isn’t just learn the skinning skill, and perhaps a second supporting gathering profession and level them casually as you quest. Herbalism is a good complementary skill as is mining, the former being easier to level casually. When deciding where to roll a new character check the server population, you want to have a large enough market to support your gathering, medium population or better. Make sure to sell your wares in full stacks, and to undercut the competition, but only by a tiny amount. Ensure a quick sale without starting a full on price war.
All of these are valid ways to gain XP(experience points), and for an enjoyable and quick leveling experience you shouldn’t stick to just one method. When I enter a zone on a new character the first thing I do is find a quest hub, typically the biggest town in the area that you are welcome in. Gather all the quests in the town quickly and then start sorting through them, drop the ones that want you to be a delivery boy unless you really think you would enjoy them or they lead to the next quest hub. Next determine which ones you are most likely to get done. Personally I hate quests where you need to gather a ton of items, they take quite a while and tend to be overly dangerous. I suggest simply taking “bounty hunter” type missions, kill X number of bad guys here and return for a reward, these tend to offer the best XP to time ratio.
Dungeons are good XP, queue up for them when you need a break from solo-questing just realize that as a damage dealing character you will have a rather long wait time, so keep questing while you wait. Grinding, the basic leveling tactic typically is how I finish up a zone, once you have done the quests you chose, find an out of the way spot with monsters that appear green or yellow in difficulty and kill away. Once you are content that you have out leveled (Ex: they are too easy) them move on to the next quest hub. Battlegrounds offer an interesting change of place, but the overall experience is rather low compared to other methods. Que up when you reach the higher levels in each bracket for the most fun, for example join at 18-19 in the 10-19 bracket etc. PvPing helps hone your skill with your class so it should never be entirely overlooked.
This is a pretty subjective topic, if you are on a PvP server you will want to choose the most sparsely traveled areas to avoid unnecessary combat with the other faction. On PvE realms this is less important. Learning to use your world map (M key) and your quest helper function will give you the right general idea. If you find you are stuck as to where to go then it never hurts to ask other people in the area, most people are happy to help. Still stuck? Pick a road if the enemies you find are too low or too high a level then go back to the last fork and try again. As a last resort ask around in a capital city. Try to avoid questing in areas that are too high a level for you; even if you are a good player and can handle it, the increased miss ratio and longer fights will net you a lower rate of experience gain overall.

An Introduction To Joana’s Horde Guide
by AMA on Apr.23, 2010, under Warcraft
If you are looking to level your Horde characters as quickly as possible in World of Warcraft, then Joana’s Horde guide is the primary guide that you should be looking for. It is better than all the other guides for a number of pretty obvious reasons actually.
Firstly, there are many free add-ons available from the game which you can easily download of the Internet. However, these simply don’t do the same thing. They don’t tell you where to pick up quests and they don’t tell you which quests to skip. Joana’s Horde guide compensates for this and a number of ways.
Compared to how things used to be a few years ago, even the 1 to 60 levelling is quite different. There are loads of new quests in various areas of the game, and other quests have been removed. In the first expansion pack there are also various changes including two new races.
By using waypoint arrows and brief descriptions of any quests that you are likely to find a little complicated or confusing, Joana’s Horde guide will guide you through each step of the levelling process right up to 80. It also tells you which quests to skip and only tells you what you should be doing in order to maximize your levelling speed.
Taking your right up to the maximum level and shortest possible time, this guide is exactly what it says on the tin. However, it also comes with an in game add-on as well as being in a printable format or one day you can refer to in any other way you want.
Perfected over a period of several years, this guide has plenty of experience in effectively making the levelling speed much faster. The author has won many competitions when it comes to levelling, so you can be sure that you are getting a good product by somebody who knows exactly what they’re doing.
It is only for Horde characters, although you can get other guides for Alliance which are just as good. Rather than trying to be the Jack of all trades, this guide sets out with a simple mission and does it extremely effectively by focusing rigidly ornate and also getting constantly updated.
You don’t have to pay for the updates, which is also highly beneficial since updates are released a major content patch as they should be. That’s why Joana’s Horde guide so such value for money!

Discover Secrets Of The WoW Hunter Class
by S W Allen on Apr.20, 2010, under Warcraft
The truth is there is no one class that is better than the rest. Each class has abilities and talents that are good in certain situations.
I personally like the WoW hunter class. They are not the up front action class such as Rogue’s or Warrior’s. They are excellent on solo quests as well as pull extremely well.
Neither of these skills is used much during group action.
In PVP the Hunter class does really well against Rogues but Druids can be really difficult. The thing about PVP is that you will get better with practice. The truth is that no one is going to be able to tell you what works.
An interesting move that they can do is called the jump shot. Usually this is accomplished when outrunning an opponent. While running they will jump and turn 90 degrees then fire and resume running. Sounds cool right, your timing has to be perfect. Well not perfect but good as it involves using the mouse and keyboard controls in an organized manner.
Until you master the jump shot just use strafe fire since this doesn’t slow you down.
The Hunter’s main purpose in the group is to just stand in the back and deal out as much damage as you can fast as possible. There are a few more jobs that your good at but 9 times out of 10 that is what you will be asked to do.
Hunter’s can also lay out freeze traps. The wonderful thing about freeze traps is they work on every creature in the game. It freezes the first creature that it comes in contact with.
Hunter’s are also extremely good at pull. Take one creature out of the fight with a freeze trap then use Hunters Mark on another and watch them go at it.
Hunters have Scouting ability. They can know if an opponent is close without actually seeing it.
These are just a few of the abilities and skills of the WoW hunter class.
I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for quite a few years now and I enjoy the WoW Hunter class. In my humble opinion(and it is very humble) it is the best class in World of Warcraft. Click here for more Free info on the WoW Hunter class.
Warcraft Ultimate PvE Guide
by AMA on Apr.19, 2010, under Warcraft
Advertised as a guide to PvP, Warcraft Ultimate’s true beauty lies in its unique focus on building the ultimate WoW character.
This is no a leveling guide nor is it an in-game mod. Rather it is a PDF file; 318 pages that will guide one on how to build up the desired characters. It is in order by its 9 different classes by chapters with a 10th on “races and their small differences” acting as the header of the file.
I found the book to be more useful in building an ultimate raiding character for PvE, as opposed to a PvP character.
I’m the first person to admit, that while I played a lot, basically since the games inception, I never really ‘got’ the finer points of character development. Sure, I was advanced beyond the basics, but I was always left feeling like other players somehow knew things I didn’t. No matter what class I played, I never felt like I was reaching the top echelon of players. It was frustrating. That all changed after reading Warcraft Ultimate Guide.
Practically speaking, in order to succeed in Wow, you have to put the time in and really learn the ins and outs of your class. Information can be found all over the web, but who has the time it takes to find web sites or forums with information that is actually useful and well presented?
Warcraft Ultimate Guide is detailed with all the necessary information needed to build the best possible raiding character all intact. All the essentials including gems, talents, enchants, abilities and consumables are there which will assist players to build characters that would make it to the very end. I transformed from a hopeless to an expert who is sought after for advice when it comes to character development in no time at all!
While the guide provides valuable information on all classes, you do not get the same amount of info on all of them. In particular, the difference between the chapter on shamans (59 pages) and the chapter on mages (8) is glaringly obvious. But that’s the beauty of this guide, you don’t have to read a lot of fluff to get what you need in character development. What you get is what you need.
If you are looking to develop one or more 70+ characters known throughout your realm as the best, this is the best warcraft PvE guide for you!
However, if you need to know how to make tons of gold, learn professions and class and really have a blast playing this game, I recommend Dugi’s Ultimate Guide to World of Warcraft. If all you need is tons of gold, I recommend this guide, for your best warcraft gold tipsand strategies.
Secret Gold Guide Reviewed
by James Sides on Apr.17, 2010, under Warcraft
Welcome to my review of the Secret Gold Guide by Hayden Hawke. This guide hit the market about a year ago. At first, no one had heard of this check claiming to be making 600+ gold an hour but soon people were starting to take note. Her guide started selling and I mean selling fast. And whats more, people were not asking for refunds. With all of this being said I decided I had to check out the guide for myself to see what all the buzz was about.
I really spent a lot of time going through all of the guide and I came up with many things that set it apart from the other “guru’s” on the market. For one it worked but that’s not all. I especially thought these specific points were helpful:
1) There are no level requirements on this guide. Because the guide was specifically designed for everyone, level 1 characters are going to benefit just like a level 80 character will. Forget farming because its all about the auction house.
2) Besides the main guide Hayden throws in over $200 worth of bonsues. These include extra guides like her crafting professions guide as well as Tom’s Powerleveling Guide. Chances are you won’t ever have to buy another guide again unless you feel the need to brush up on your pvp skills but even that can be done for free at some of the more popular forums online.
3) Hayden is so confident in her guide that she backs up her guide with a double your money back guarantee. Because this is a digital product there is no shipping and handling to worry about so therefore there is no catch!
So, the Secret Gold Guide by Hayden Hawke more than lived up to my expectations and I recommend it to anyone who wants to make more gold in less time.

Brian Kopp’s 1-80 Alliance Leveling Guide
by AMA on Apr.14, 2010, under Warcraft
True WoW players know that World of Warcraft is not for the faint of heart. If you are serious about skipping the grinding and quickly leveling up, Brian Kopp’s 1-80 Alliance Leveling Guide is the book for you. Within its pages are detailed instructions for every quest as well as illustrations depicting what you should do to win each race. The Leveling Guide is available as an e-book, so it is easy to reference while playing WoW.
WoW gamers can find numerous leveling guides available for purchase or download. Some claim to get you up to level 80 in less than a week. If you are an avid gamer, it is possible to utilize any leveling guide to reach level 80 in a week or so.
There are a number of other leveling guides on the market, but Brian Kopp’s version offers some special features that give it an edge in the market. The book is full of illustrations, so you have a visual reference of what you should be doing versus what is actually happening on your screen.
However, Brian Kopp’s guide has a couple of extras built in that the other guides just don’t offer. His best innovation is a map mod that tracks where you are and where you should be going as you progress through the levels.
By consulting this map as you proceed through your levels, you will always know where you are (and where you want to be) in the game.
Leveling your alliance character can be a pain when it comes to learning strategic ways of leveling fast. You may find the information you need from the brain kopp’s guide. Although many people that don’t level through a guide could take longer.
Wasting time is something you don’t want to do in world of warcraft, because of the neat arena seasons that bring new armor and weapons to people. The new expansion will be also added in this guide to help you get to level 85. First you must get to level 80 and to do that will be through this guide.
If you do choose to purchase Brian Kopp’s 1-80 Alliance Leveling Guide, you can think of it as an investment. This is because Kopp offers a lifetime of free updates as long as Blizzard comes out with new levels. Your guide will never be obsolete.

Basic Info About Shaman in WOW
by Harold Polis on Apr.08, 2010, under Warcraft
Players do not employ Shamans really as much as they should. This is probably for the reason that they are not really good tanks, but they do not quite have fun spells akin to squishies. They are good alt character meant for enjoyment. I’d merely play this as an alt. However that’s a personal belief.
Shaman are usually not great at soloing, so should you be getting a shaman leveling guide, you may want to discover a group of players who are following a similar guide, therefore it is possible to all do it simultaneously. Finding a group inside World of warcraft is just not complicated by any means, simply attempt trade chat!
You’re very limited in terms of race with Shaman, in particular if you are alliance. With alliance, you possibly can just be a Draenei, inside the Horde, you’ll be able to be an Orc, Undead, Troll, or else Tauran.
Shamans include a single great thing which separates them from all other classes as well as makes them magnificent: Totems. Totems are given to a Shaman in barter for finishing quests. The totems all connect to a specific element, like fire, water, etc. You could possibly only utilize a single totem from every element at any moment.
When you spec out your talent points into the Enhancement tree, you will ramp up your DPS nearer than every other tree. It’s because of the greater skills you get, such as Thundering Strikes and Flurry. A different good talent to boost DPS is Dual Weild. Those all will significantly amplify your Damage per second at once.
For any soloing Shaman, on the list of best talents you can get could be the Improved Ghost Wolf. This can enable you to escape if you get ganked. Fewer trips to the graveyard will always be great!
When looking to get a guide, try to get one that’s expressly a Shaman leveling guide. This is because of the fact that Shaman are simply a completely uncommon character than every other therefore a person who does not really understand the Shaman could not compose a great leveling guide for one.

Getting to Level 80 in Warcraft. 5 Reasons to do it.
by Paul Rone-Clarke on Apr.04, 2010, under Warcraft
There are a lot of distractions on the way to getting a character to levelled in Warcraft, but here are five good reasons why you should prioritise this above everything else.
1 – Warcraft is now all about the end game. There is so much content once you get there that you will wonder why it took you so long. Ilevel-200 gear is so “last year”.
2 – You can compete in full blown PvP. Sure there are battlegrounds at every level, but at level 80 they become massive fights with the latest in user controlled vehicles and the greatest rewards in terms of what PvP rep can buy you.
3 – Your own self esteem will take a boost. Reaching 80 is a great feeling. Suddenly it’s like a new game. Everything just seems to matter “more” than it did before. Walk tall.
4 – Did I forget to mention Cataclysm? While it is true everyone can roll a new character to see around the all new Azeroth, only level 80′s will see all the great new content for levelling between 80 and 85. Blizzard are going out of there way to make every level a unique experience with the latest expansion. But of course it’s only open if you are already at the current cap.
5 – Finally making worthwhile gold. I know some guides tell you that it’s possible to make gold at any level, and to an extent that is true. But at level 80 it becomes so much easier. Just playing the game and selling the loot you pick up will yield around 200 gold per hour on most servers. Don’t go to all that hassle early in the game for a few gold pieces here and there. Your coffers will start to fill up very nicely once you get a level 80; just by playing the game as it should be played.
From the outside it can seem like there are two goals. Getting to level cap, and getting super rich. At times they might even seem to take you in different directions. Take it from someone who has done it 16 times. Levelling up as efficiently as you can is the key to success in both areas of the game.
Have a great time, and get levelling!

Auction House Domination – A Step to Become a World of Warcraft Gold Generator
by Paul Rone-Clarke on Apr.03, 2010, under Warcraft
The capital cities in Azeroth are where you can find the auction houses. It’s here that the most potential for profit and loss in Warcraft exists. The reason is the variability in price that you will find in here. One day Mageroyal is 5 silver apiece, the next it’s 10.
It is these variations that give you the potential for profit, and of course for loss. The NPC vendors do not give you a variable price, the amount of Warcraft gold they pay per item is fixed. It’s a fair price, but if you have uncommon or better items to sell, they will rarely give you the best value for them.
If you are considering playing the auction house as if it were a market, then first you need to collect some data. 3G for 20copper ore might look like a bargain, but is it? Unless you have followed the price of copper ore for some time, then you don’t know.
My initial advice would be to download the Auctioneer add-on. This tool allows you to run a full scan of the auction house, and collect all the prices people are asking for every item in there. Run the scan, and then get on with powerleveling
Once you have run auctioneer once a day for about ten days it will give you some decent average averages that are being asked for items.
The scans will have recorded each item at auction and given them an average asking price. You will see a percentage next to each item now in the auction GUI. This percentage is a ratio of the average price Auctioneer found when it scanned. So 80% is 20% below the average asking price. 120% is 20% above
With this information you can start to make judgements on what items are worth buying and selling at a later date (buy low sell high – just like the real world).
There are some huge shortcomings with auctioneer in the long run though.
As I mentioned above, it records the asking price. Not the selling price, it doesn’t even know whether the item sold at all. People can ask whatever price they want at auction. If you’ve seen a piece of wool cloth or similar on for 10,000g (it happens all the time) then this figure will massively increase the average that Auctioneer thinks Wool cloth is worth. It won’t have sold of course (at least not to someone who was keeping within the ToS and actually wanted it) People do this to either move vast amount of gold around, or in the hope that someone accidentally clicks on the item and buys it. The result is the same. Auctioneer’s average asking price gets completely skewed with rogue data.
Another issue is the fact that the game changes all the time. Items are useful, and then a patch is issued that makes them worthless. Perhaps they were part of a crafting recipe that is no longer the best available. Or the stats for an item have been changed. Blizzard increase and decrease drop rates for items all the time. In a matter of days rare items become common and worth far less, or the opposite can happen. Auctioneer will not tell you this. If you have invested heavily in one or two items, a patch can wipe out loads of your profit of you don’t know what’s coming up
However, to start with auctioneer is a great tool. Install it and run the scan. It certainly isn’t the be-all-and-end-all tool for making gold in Warcraft, but it is a tool that, used properly and knowing the pitfalls, can help you along the way to becoming a World of Warcraft Gold Generator.
