WoW Multiboxing Explained

There’s never been a better time for you to multibox in wow. It’s less difficult then ever to level a group of characters and gear them out, with faster leveling and greater rewards.
If you’ve been playing WoW for a time you might be getting tired with raiding, player vs player, or arenas. You have leveled numerous alts to 80 throughout the very same content. WoW multiboxing makes all the experience of playing wow, new and fresh again. Running multiple characters simultaneously and figuring out the best casting rotations and key configurations is a brand new challenge you have not had in quite a while. The reward is once you completely decimate a five man dungeon or mop up in a battleground.
WoW multiboxing is fantastic for the loot fiend. Running 5 mans you’re able to keep all the loot and emblems yourself, and gear out your team extremely quickly. You are going to also be able to go dungeon farming when you like, on your terms.
To properly multibox you are going to need some type of program to assist you to control your characters. Wow multiboxing software programs are accepted by blizzard so long as it isn’t a bot. Attempting to multibox without multiboxing software is virtually impossible (envision trying to swap windows by hand and cast spells with multiple characters).
Many people doing wow multiboxing use macros and key broadcasting to manage their characters effectively. Simple macros like follow and focus are ideal for multiboxing and are much more precise then trying to send movement keys or TAB to all of your characters. As a multiboxer you’ll soon learn the most effective macros for doing trading, releasing your corpse, or vendoring. These types of macros can readily be found with google or on multiboxing websites.
What is the downside of multiboxing? You will have to pay for every account you wish to multibox a character on. That means up to five wow accounts, making this a substantial cost, but nevertheless much less then many other hobbies, like golfing where equipment and memberships can cost 100′s of dollars.
Overall though wow multiboxing is a great hobby, that will make wow feel like a new game. With new challenges, and greater rewards, you will have a great time. If you only want to try it out, sign up for a few wow trial accounts.
