What Do I Need to Know About the Death Knight Talent Trees?

When you are in a place where you are thinking about trying something new, why not look into rolling up a Death Knight? World of Warcraft’s first hero class comes from former servants of the Lich King who threw off his command and there are plenty of people who are curious about what they can do. Death Knights start at level 55 and they come equipped with good gear to match, but like any other class, they have three talent trees to choose from. Which one is going to be right for you and how does each one match up with your play style?
Blood
When you put the majority of your Talent points into the Blood tree, you will find that you have a great build for leveling, though this is less true than it once was. This tree is very rune conservative and you will find that this can increase the amount of attacks that you can instigate, though the drawback is going to be the fact that you are attacking with less strength. This tree is for the people who are more interested in playing the melee aspect of the Death Knight class, rather than the caster aspect. With a Death Knight specced to the Blood tree, you will find that you are going to have better healing abilities thanks to Rune Tap and Vampiric Blood.
Frost Tree
With the Frost tree, you are going to have an improved ability to attack from a distance. Many people consider this tree a compromise between Blood and Unholy, because you can do both melee damage and spell damage, and if you are someone who likes versatility, this might be the perfect tree for you. With Howling Blast, you are going to get an excellent area of effect spell, and you are going to be able to get a relatively high amount of damage out o this build, especially as you move to the end game.
Unholy Tree
Next to the Blood tree, the Unholy tree is excellent when you are looking to level; some people feel that it even surpasses the Blood tree. The Unholy tree lets you take several mobs on all at once; the ghoul that you are able to summon up can tank quite effectively for you, and it can leave you free to do a lot of damage. Through the use of Plague Strike, you are also going to be in a great place to deal out high DPS.
Take some time and take a look at what you want to get out of your Death Knight. There is a lot of potential in this class, and there are many people who get a lot out of it. Also keep in mind, however, the fact that as WoW’s newest class, they are subject to change. This is where a World of Warcraft guide can come in, so make sure that you find one that will help you out!
